Topic: Vandersteen Model 2's?

Anyone know anything about the original Model 2 floor speakers?  I see a pair being sold locally for $350 and am wondering if it is worth it.  I don't currently have the space, but intend on moving soon so I am getting a mild case of playback fever.

Never heard them, but Vandersteen is a very well respected speaker manufacturer that has been around for a long time. I would think it is worth going over to take a listen.
