It appears to be the same stand I got from them. All (I think all) light stands have to have an adaptor in oder to be used as we do:

And as I understand it, if the current bidder wins, he's getting 6 stands for a total of $36.

You can get them almost anywhere. It's a Manfrotto 3102 Rapid Adaptor. Google it. Some common places ts'ers use:

micsupply.com
bhphotovideo.com
cascademedia.net

etc etc etc

Pretty funny a stand for around $13.00 after shipping and an adapter for $17.00 plus shipping.

I've got the Bogen 3336...works great!  Lightweight, not too bulky to carry around but still pretty stable even when run at 11-12'

Closed length of 59", or 5 FEET is "not too bulky"?  We have very different perspectives on what's too bulky!  My 3373 closes up to 19" - love it! - but unfortunately is not stable enough for my AKG 414s.  So...currently looking for a stand that's 20-30" closed (shorter the better since it's gotta fit on the back of my m/c) and gets the mics up ~8-10' or so.

Wow ! 59" .  My stand folds to 19" after a little modification. It is a Bogon Manfrotto 3373. But it is only 6' with the legs near flat, and 7' raised.

No, usually I keep it about an inch off the ground. I only raise it like that when I cant get high enough.  :o That usually isn't a problem.  >:D

I just measured my 3336...closed position is 39 1/2".

...I still think that's "not too bulky," but it's just me.

EDIT:  Funny that the Bogen chart says that the folded up length is 59".  Either I can't read my label on my stand or the guy I got this from modded it.

Weird.

Another fluff for the Dynatran stand from Amvona.com  I paid $10.51 + shipping when I won my eBay auction.  Yeah it's big, but it's sturdy and air-cushioned.  The price is right too - just watch the auctions for a cheap one.  I got my adapter from micsupply.com

Hope you were able to jump on one of those 2 auctions listed. The single one ended at $8.xx and the lot of 6 went for $78.xx.
