new naiant midbox

just recieved a new naiant box.will try to post pix soon. i have not yet  field  tested it. in the shop i have connected a pair of schoeps and a pair of b and k,s. both sounded clear and quiet. no hum or noise while gain was pushed all the way up.this box runs on 4 double a batteries. have not tested to see how long they will run until they die and box shuts down. box has two individual led meters for power and gain. low and high  toggle switches for gain control. not sure of the exact measurement. one mini jack line out one mini jack mic in(never going to use it). 2 xlr in and 2 xlr outs. battery tray on one side. external power jack on the other side. more info to follow once it has been tested in a live situation. jon makes these boxes by hand lovingly.aluminum cases and hand soldered. that is all. todd

Does that mean that the output x-formers an your LB are external? Jon said they wouldn't fit inside the LB. Any pics you can share?

they are in the box
you can have them going IN and/or OUT via a switch to turn them on/off

Jon was probably referring to the Tinybox not having room for transformers

Jon was probably referring to the Tinybox not having room for transformers

My mistake- Jon and I were discussing both in and out x-formers at the time. So many options, it gets a bit confusing at times.
