Impact Brand charger and 7600 mah battery
« on: July 29, 2008, 10:21:35 AM »
Do these things suck or what. I have one of each for less than 6 months. The charger will only output 3 volts while the adapter reads 15v. and the battery, I don't know what the hell is wrong with that. One minute it reads 8v, hook it up to 722, no power, check it again and it reads 1v.

OK, so maybe I have a bad charger? Charge the battery on my 2 bay charger, can't remember the name, and the same deal. it reads full charge on the tester. hook it up and nothing >:D

I know these are used by some here. Anyone else having problems. I bought both from B&H. Not that it matters.

My Impact EC-550 wallwart puts out 15v, charger outputs ~3v, batts ~8.3v, all under no load.

If the batt voltage swings wildly, sounds like a bad battery to me.
