How do you guys carry your AT8410a shockmounts? I'm thinking maybe a little cloth bag or the like. Ideas?

I throw them in the back compartment of my rakgear...honestly, these things are built like tanks....have not had a problem yet, other than cosmetic scratches at times, which are no big deal to me on shockmounts...
-
mine are stuffed in my bag with the clamp.

i typically always leave mine on the stand. can't find a reason to ever take em off....

this is a very good question, with my 8410s being shipped right now i was wondering the same thing
i do know of a few people who just leave them on thier stand, but i think i would break them
im using a lowepro nova 5, and it is stuffed allready, definantly not enough room for those in there
any ideas for me?

i keep mine in the boxes they came in. fit perfectly in the bottom of my rakgear. nice square shape makes for easy stacking.
-
I also leave mine on the stand. I like the looks on people's faces when I walk by as they're trying to figure out what they are. :2confused: :bouncy:

Just ordered a set of these. Actually my wife did for a Christmas present. Can't wait to try em out.
Jeff , Before I order a new pelican for my mics. Do you leave your 480's in the shocks & store them that way?
-
Exactly. I don't use a pelican to store them yet, so I'm note sure which size it will take for them, but those mounts are very small. Let me know what works, so I can follow suit...

I use the little cloth bags that come with an eco-charge battery... I have one for my shocks and one for my windscreens
