Camcorder for gigs

Would this cam be okay for metal gigs? It has no external mic input.

Thanks in advance!

That camera has a tiny sensor.  It will likely perform very poorly in a concert setting.  It will have extreme trouble in a low-light environment.  The fact that it is HD and capturing extra lines will compound this problem.

The bigger the size of the sensor, the more light it will let in and perform better in lower light situations.  If you can get a camera with 3 larger sensors it's even better, but for that price you're going to be looking at a single large chip or 3 smaller ones.
