Zoom H2 problems - Any help appreciated!
« on: March 08, 2010, 01:35:31 PM »
Hey guys,

I've had my Zoom H2 for about 6 months now, and I've noticed it has started taking about 36 seconds to boot up, rather than about 5. It also resets the date/time each time, which is very frustrating.

I tried to update it from 1.4 to 1.8, but where the version number should be in the update was just ****, and then it errors.

Would anyone be able to help/have had a similar problem?
thanks!

I think I have had the same issue with the version update when I tried to update the version using a SDHC memory card. If you will use the regular SD card that arrived with the H2 (or any other SD card that is not a high capacity one) it should work fine. I am not sure though about the long boot time.

i've fixed both problems.

Update won't happen on an SDHC card, needs to be the original 512 one..

Long Boot/load has been rectified by formatting the SDHC card again from the H2.
