Thank you for your continued patronage of Sony products.

Due to the problem of parts supply, the linear PCM recorders "PCM-D100" and "PCM-D10" could not be supplied sufficiently to meet the demand, so we stopped accepting temporary orders from March 10, 2021. However, we will resume accepting orders.

We apologize for the inconvenience caused to our customers during the period when orders are not accepted."

This is good news! Such a high quality recorder should never be discontinued.

Out of curiosity : Does anyone has a suggestion for an affordable/quality shotgun microphone to pair with a D100 (for sound hunting & birds).
I heard nice things about the Sennheiser MKE 600 and the Rode VideoMic GO II but I don't know if it either of those would be a nice fit.
