J/B Weld--Expensive non-conductive epoxy alternative?

The package on JB Weld specifically says its non-conductive.  Can anyone think why it wouldn't work OK for something like this?

I think J&B isn't liquid enough to fill in and seal the XLR jack. I'd want something you can pour.
