sync mic to soundboard
« on: January 24, 2007, 04:43:10 PM »
In the early 80's I used to tape a lot of club shows at places like the Rainbow tavern in seattle.
There was a booth right in front of the soundboard leaving all the outputs there for the taking. (well I just asumed.....) anyway I was able to plug in quite a bit for bands like Nevilles, Robert Cray, Thunder and lightning etc.  I would run a nak cm700 into one channel of my d5 and the soundboard feed into the other.
Those of you who have been around small clubs Know that not everything that comes off the stage goes through the PA.  The mic would be about 35 ft from the stage.  My question is what program can I use to
sync the two sources.  I might add the simplest, shortest learning curve software that would accomplish
my goal.  thanks....bob
