Best Maggie sytem I've heard to date!
« on: February 11, 2006, 06:20:33 PM »
Had to head out couch shopping today and when that happens I get to play at the audio places.  It had been a few years since I was last at Audio Dimensions in Birmingham, but listened to some Pink Floyd, Diana Krall and some other jazz on all Audio Research components and Magneplaner MG20.1.  Most bass I've ever heard from maggies.  If you are ever in the area stop in and listen.  The place is maybe 14'x30', but with a shit load of nice gear (Vandies, Maggies, Audio Research, Arcam, Plinius) and the guy (Ed or Art I think) was a pleasure to talk to.  Gave me a research paper from Kimer Cable on freq. rolloff due to various wire technology.

if you are in the market for a good magnepan i'd like to sell my 10.1 QRs.  I've had them for a while, just gonna change things up a bit.
