mini-me>G4 laptop

looking to get rid of my D8 and step into the future of laptop recording, im currently running SKM140's>Mme>D8, wondering if anyone out there runs a minime into a laptop, and if so hows it working out for you, i love the mini me and would hate to have to dump it when i gt rid of my D8....any info would be grately appreciated

Aren't there problems at 24/96?  I thought it was only stable at 24/48...

I could be way off base, though.

it's not supposed to do 24/96 over usb

So to do 24/96 what would I need?  Another sound card for just the lappy...bah!!!  I wonder if the firewire mod that will become availible shortly will do 24/96?  Is the 24/48 limit a feature of usb or an apogee fark up?

Apogee.  I've done 24/96 over USB with my emi 2|6 plenty of times.
