I have a MArantz CDR300. It is pretty nice, but I need to figure out how to power it with a battery, and make sure I have enough power to record for a good long time!
The specs say the power requirements are "AC 120v 60 Hz, 21W"
The DC in is one of those circular plugs with 4 prongs on the left.
I know I sound stupid, but I am real new to this!
Thanks!
Mitchell
OOPS - I forgot to mention that there is a battery pack out there for the MArantz (the RPS300) for about $170:
The RPS-300 includes the following:
RB4200 Lead Acid Battery
BC300 Battery charger for the RB4200
CLC300 Nylon bag for the RB4200
2 wire cord for connection to the BC300
The remote power system will power the Marantz CDR-300 for approximately 4 hours. The recharge time is approximately 14 to 16 hours and the battery can be recharged approximately 3000 times.
The problem is you only get about 4 hours of recording time, then you need to recharge for 14-16 hours!
Is there a better way?!?!?
