Title: home made 2496 pre
Post by: BLOODYJACK on November 11, 2005, 02:03:26 PM
I found this on the Internet and have just ordered a bare PCB my plan is to build this and a second board with mics meters and 48v to compliment it or maybe just use it with my SD micpre and microtracker.
If anybody is interested in a diy 2496 A2D I believe he has a few more bare boards for sale. That said this is not a project for beginners electronic types only I would say.

That is way cool. A tad beyond my confidence level with a soldering iron though. Have you done it up yet? I'd like to know how it works out.

Personally I'd be stoked on a DIY, really good, but simple as possible, plain ol' mic preamp circuit.

Peace,
Sanaka
