Title: Digimod UA-5 still useful for USB connectivity?
Post by: rdptha2nd on December 29, 2005, 12:24:21 PM
I have a digimod UA5 that Oade did for me about a year or so ago.  I am just now finding uses for the UA5 drivers to be hooked up so I installed them.  Now I can't get any audio signal to show up in my Sonar 3 program.  I was wondering if by getting a digimod done to a UA-5 I have disabled the capabilities of transferring audio realtime in to my desktop?  Or maybe I don't have the audio input settings correctly configured in Sonar 3 to make the levels bounce.  Any suggestions or answers?

Thanks in advance for any help...

Ron

The mod should have no effect on the USB out. I've used my mod UA-5 numerous times going USB into a lap top. Check your input settings. A restart may be needed to. I forget what exactly, but I either had to have the UA-5 plugged in and on at startup or off. I forget.

The digimod disables the USB input into the UA-5, but not the output.  In other words, with a digimod UA-5, you can pass teh signal from the UA-5 to the computer through USB, but you can no longer pass the signal from the computer to the UA-5 through USB.
