Title: HD Video Panasonic ZS-7

So I got a nice Panasonic ZS-7 from X-mas.  I have taken it to a few shows with the above referenced results.  I know a little shaky but still really nice for what it is.

Anybody have any advice for sound upgrades for this type of taping?

My first post! Onward and Upward!

What do you mean by "sound upgrades" ?

Is there any sneaky way to utilize an external mic on a unit without one, or coax better sound out of the unit?

Or what is the best (easiest-cheapest) software one could use to mate my video with another sound source?

Thanks

the OLD quick-time PRO for mac OS was great for replacing audio on camera-shot video, but I don't have a current solution for os beyond Tiger.

I see that Wavelab 7 Elements is $70.  Would this do the trick?  Haven't done much research.
