Sony D7
« on: April 05, 2005, 02:26:48 PM »
Hi,

I'm thinking of buying a used sony TCD-D7 but have some questions.
The price is $225, is that a good price?
Is it easy to stealth with?

Thanks in advance :)

The D7 is a great deck.  Mine is 11 years old and still strong.  But most of them have many many hours on them so I'd be wary of that.  Has it been serviced recently?

For that money, you can get a JB3 and not have to deal with buying media, have fast transfers to CD burning station, lots of capacity and no tape swaps.

way too pricey. try 150, maybe 175 if pristine and low hours. 200-225 is more like a nice low hours d8 price these days.

my advice...it's too old. look for a d8.
