a few months ago my microtrack 24/96 crapped out, so the only alternative i have at the moment is running my ua-5 tmod+ digi out into my mbox 2 which runs on pro tools LE 7.4.2 on a macbook pro. i recently tried to record 24/48 in pro tools and couldn't get the session to function properly. i kept getting a sample rate error, but the session's sample rate matches the ua-5's knob setting. from what i've read on other threads, the adv switch in the back of the ua-5 doesn't need to be switched on for 24 bit recording, so i'm not sure if that has something to do with it. i know this is an obscure question, but any insight would be greatly appreciated.
