i found this on datheads
"in my search for a store that still has a Teac DA-P20, i spoke with
a guy at one store (that doesn't have them any more) that claims
that they had transport problems, and that's why the deck was
discontinued; does anybody here have any knowledge as to whether
or not that is true? has anybody who owns one experienced any
such problems?
fwiw, the market posting for the deck says:
"same case and transport as Denon DTR-100P and Casio
DA-7."
it says its simular to the Casio DA-7 i have that deck, havn't had it for a real long time, but from what i've heard from others its a killer deck, built like a tank, you will have to take into acount that if its simular to mine its a full size portable the d7's d8's are smaller, as with the M1's and d100 they ares small enough to keep in your pocket where as the full size like the DA-7, DAP-1, D10 are a laptop style, pretyt big. look in the rig pics and check the size. but the fullsize decks have advantages, where their heads are full size and tend to last longer, so. good luck man.

oh yea, for patchin youwill basiclyneed any cable connection you can thinkof, go for digital patches if you can, or analog, sbd whatever, but digital patches would need a digital coax probably for that deck, some rca's for extra, rcas>mini yea.. those would probably be good.
