I power my MP-6 via the USB-C port and have an L-Series battery for redundancy, or in case I need to hot-swap batteries. I've always been a bit concerned with the USB cable getting yanked loose or damaging the input on the deck, even when using a right angle cable.

Here's what I came up with: https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fo/fcittply7047xada17i1s/ADK6mAQSjacyMxDZcVo2oAM?rlkey=r587s8fe40nc00gbr340fwm13&st=nlerb1sr&dl=0

Both items available from Scamazon for under $30. Works like a champ. The down-angle cable sits flush with the input on the deck and eliminates any chance of stress from being cantilevered like a straight or even right angle cable. The cable clamp secures the cable to the bottom of the deck securely. I've given the cable a few rather vigorous tugs and it won't budge.

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CCJLS4R5?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1 <- down-angle USB-C cable

Cheers!

For my particular bag setup anchoring the power cable to the top of the deck works way better for me. I added a small cheese plate that the 1/4-20 male stud on top of the deck screws into and now I have a mount point on top of the recorder for the cable clamp.

Here's what I used: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01NCK79G2?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details

I'm not feeling particularly motivated to snap pics because I'd have to tear apart my entire bag, but I'm willing to do so if anyone needs the visual aid. My arm is easily twisted...
