Title: NEED HELP! SD Card reads 0 Kb on some audio files
Post by: mikedawise on June 29, 2016, 03:57:32 PM
So I recently recorded audio for a short film and went ahead and plugged in my SD card into my Macbook. When i went to open the card, some of the files read as having Zero bytes.

Audio was recorded on a Tascam Dr-60D Sample Rate 96,000 24-bit WAV on through 1-channel. recorded on a PNY 32 GB SD card.

Towards the end of the shoot the battery pack got disconnected from my Tascam DR-60D. This is most likely the case for the files going bad.

I've looked throughout the forum for help and I have taken suggestions such as using VLC, Audacity, WAVFixer but still no luck on either. (Also tried importing RAW file in Audacity and VLC).

I came across a post Andrea82 on how to fix this solution but it seems as if this can only be done through PC (Mac user over here). http://taperssection.com/index.php?topic=161409.0 (http://taperssection.com/index.php?topic=161409.0)

I was hoping to know if anyone knows of another solution to this.

I've attached one of the many WAV files that seem to be corrupted.
