Just saw schoeps announced a CMC 1 KB magnetic Amplifier Body. Looks cool, could be a way to add some flexibility to mounting. Just need a metal bar on your stand to mount in any configuration you want.
Surprised to see magnets in a mic body. Always thought that was a no no near audio gear.

Best not to store them atop DAT's and cassette masters (magnetic media). SD cards, HDDs, USB drives and LPs won't pay no mind.

how does this compare on size to the cmc1K? i assume this is the same side-cabled version of the 1K that people were talking about testing here awhile back
