I have some extra starquad cable and I need to make a couple of unbalanced interconnects terminated with RCA plugs. I assume the shielded wires are combined in pairs by color and attached invidually to the connector's posts. My question is, do I connect the shield and if so, to what?
I've read a few things that indicate the shield should be connected, but on the source side only.... i'm confused.
