not a torrent noob here ;) ports are forwarded. speed guide in utorrent shows them open. I'm not firewalled on any site but Dime.
dime says
protocol error 1 no/erroneous BT client listening or misconfigured router
again green light on everywhere but dime. DHT is disabled. I only use it about once a month or less so it's not really a big deal but it makes no sense. only thing different I've done is set up a static IP.

Not helpful but I have this same problem. I can't upload anything to that site. I never really feel the need to use it anymore, especially since I can't upload and my share ratio has gone to shit...I can get some great upload speed with every other torrent/ftp site except dime.

yea like I said I hardley ever use it. haven't seeded a show there in 2 + years. saw some tasty gillian there the other night and noticed this.
