Samplitude 10 and files >2gb
« on: March 14, 2008, 06:12:03 PM »
Has anyone tried any of the new versions of Samplitude 10. There are three levels ranging from 999. to 500. and I think 299. I think Sam is the best program out there and think it sounds the best, but you can't output a file greater than 2gb. I know that you can track within the program, and ouput individual files, but when I try to make a .iso file and then burn the 24 bit files, Lplex will not recognize them.
I talked to support at Magix and the reply was that the new 10 versions will handle and output files greater than 2gb, but would like to be sure before I buy.

The non SE versions can burn audio DVD's. If you stay within the VIP context, I don't think that you will have to manage 2gb file sizes.

I think they started DVD burning with version 8 if I remember correctly.

I see that they have a version 10 demo now. Recently I had checked their site and only saw the version 9 demo. So this is fairly new.
