Maha Powerex AA's vs. Maha Imedion AA's
« on: March 16, 2012, 01:22:51 AM »
Are they both slow discharge ?
One better than the other ?
Major differences ?

I just got the Maha MH-C9000 smart charger that came with 4 2700 mah batteries. Curious if I would be better off with Imedion's or it don't matter. Primary use would be M10 and DR-2d recorders. Thanks in advance.

Only the Imedions are slow-discharge.  In general you trade lower self-discharge for slightly lower capacity.  As long as you are able to charge the powerex batteries within a day of when you need to use them you're good.  The Imedions shine in uses like clocks or emergency flashlight that's put in a drawer and seldom used.  One nice thing about the powerex 2700s is that they actually test out at 2800-2950 mah (mine do, anyway).
