Title: CD-RW help

I reinstalled windows 2000 on a new hard drive after my xp pro experience (read afwul) and am now getting buffer underruns on the plextor 48/24.  There is nothing on the ide cable except the drive, so I don't think data transfer is the problem.  I am thinking it is something in the operating system, as I have had this happen before with windows 2000, and it did not occur with wiindows xp...fixed right up last time I tried the xp.  Any ideas??

Never mind, fixed it by changing a few ide bridge settings!
