Title: Charging Rechargeables while out of the house...
Post by: nickgregory on January 14, 2004, 10:30:50 PM
OK, so I got tired of carrying a couple of 6 V SLAs to shows when my rig can be run off of rechargeable AA's and have plenty of juice for most shows.  So I took the advice from this board and bought some rechargeables from Thomas Distributing, and a MH-C204F charger.  My question is admittedly a dumb one, but I never leave my homebrew SLAs charging when I am not around the house, but with these, I am considering it...am I taking a risk, or is this the normal practice for those that use rechargeables.

Any and all input is appreciated.

Nick

I've leave home charging mine all the time, no problems.  You may not want to keep them in the plugged-in charger as storage, though.  I've also used the MH-C204F in my car with fine results.
