Looks like these are no longer available! They are listed as discontinued on his website.

Looks like the new IPA versions (all versions in fact) were also discontinued earlier this month. Bummer.
-
Wow, big loss to the taping community but I imagine we were just a small portion of his sales.

Not to worry - If you look at the products page (https://naiant.com/custom_audio_reproduction_equipment/product_spec/) under Inline Devices, you will find the IFA (https://naiant.com/ifa-specification/). It has all of the custom options that the PFA does.
These are custom products so I doubt you will see them on Jon's Reverb page; you would need to email him to discuss your needs as it always has been.

Looks like an updated IPA! Although it can perform the function of a PFA I like the form factor of the PFA better. I didn't really like the IPA I had. The IFA isn't available to purchase currently either. Glad I ordered a few sets of PFA's before they were discontinued.

Wow. This was an excellent product. As others mentioned, I guess he wasn't selling enough to make it worth his while any longer.
We have been lucky to have his craftsmanship on these devices

Unlike the PFA, which could be run off a small 12V battery, the IFA only seems to support phantom power. This change is quite understandable, given the fact that the relatively weak battery has always been the IPA's achilles heel. In fact, I stopped using my IPA after it dropped out during the second to last song of a The Cure concert. Without that hiccup, this would have been one of my best recordings ever.
The fact that Naiant now doesn't seem to have a battery-powered solution for running active mics anymore is a great loss to our community.

So it looks like you can custom order a PFA if you email Jon! Found this out through a FB group. So I guess he hasn't completely pulled the plug.

Thanks! That is good to know. I too ordered a couple of PFA's before they were discontinued.

May I ask your advise how can I make sure battery is always stong enough? Use always new batteries for each night? Thanks Zoltan

E Mail Jon. Just ordered 6 couple days ago.

Yes, and use quality batteries.
But what I really did was to replace the battery with a 9V battery and add a DC/DC converter IC that converts from 9V to 12V. I also replaced the case, obviously, to make room for the bigger battery. See this post (https://taperssection.com/index.php?topic=176836.msg2302992#msg2302992).

I would like to make an order, but as I remember Jon doesn't sell to UK. If anyone here is willing to help me with forwarding a parcel please contact me on PM.
Thanks!
