These r Betsy open baffle flat pack. Drivers r Decware modded Fostex 8" 206en's which were freebee's. Rubbed down with tung oil to even out the finish and make the grain pop. The open baffles are not the best way to use the fostex's, but was semi cheap and easy. The fostex's r easy to drive. A SET amp will give nice low to medium listening levels. Add a sub for full range sound. Fun DIY speaker project. Ed

How big of a space do you listen to these in? How far do you have them from room boundaries?

I haven't heard of Betsys in a good many years.

Here's a bad pic of a SET amp kit I put together years ago. About 1.5 WPC. Drives the drivers OK but open baffle design would definitely benefit with more power
