What are the good ones to get - for:
indoor just as smoke screens
indoor as hvac windscreen
outdoor festival

I would still use the DPA 0896 windscreens for general outdoor use, unless runnig the Vs.  You can use them inside too especially if you are concerned with HVAC.
Otherwise, the generic B5 Schoeps windscreens will work fine!

I use and like:

DPA UA0896 | indoor as hvac windscreen
Shure A81WS | outdoor festival

??? | indoor just as smoke screens
Not sure what these are from, I've had 'em forever - but they look like the B5s.  Little small jobbies that help for smoke and for venues in which I know the ventilation systems won't be a huge problem, i.e. m not in the direct blast from the vents.

I own pretty much everything Schoeps...but I refuse to pay that much money for windscreens.  I have loved using my "Big Ass" Shure windscreens outdoors when necessary.
