Topic: AKG active cables for 393's...where can I buy them?

I've scoured the 'net and can't find any info on actives for the Blue Line series.  I looked at musiciansgear.com but couldn't find anything, also Sonic Sense, etc.  Heck, I don't even know what their model numbers/name are.  

Can anyone list some online places that carry these, and what their model numbers are?

Bingo.  Those are the part #'s I was looking for, Brian, thank you.  Now to find an online dealer.  

Hmm, looks like Musician's Gear does have it after all...now I just have to figure out how to place my first order to Germany?    Unless someone else knows of another place...

Yeah, that's what I hear, if & when I get a quote that might discourage me from getting them as funds are tight     Oh well, at least it's fun to look around & dream!

musicians gear in germany was cheaper, but the dollar to euor ratio is bad right now

and they also take a long time to deliver themn, someone on this board got thier blue line actives 3 months after ordering

i think they're like 300 per..  if i could get them at dealer price from the studio i help out at, i would, but i don't think he'd like me buying stuff cheap under his name, and selling it...  sorry man.

hey man, thanks for thinking of me, but no, don't get yourself in trouble, it's not worth it!  you're right, they're approx. $300 per cable, at least according to sonic sense they are.  i'm gonna sit tight for now, i'm enjoying my 391's just as they are.

Musiciansgear.com  $176.68 USD excluding German Tax.  times 2 is $353.36 + shipping for the pair.  Shipping to my zip code in AL is about $11.00.  I have heard alot of people say that you have to pay $100 extra dollars when they deliver it, but I didn't i only owed $20.  so $353.36for two cables, $10-20 for shipping, and the $20 when they drop it off comes to393.36 almost $200 per cable.  What did you say they were from a US dealer ~$300?  I think the wait is a deal.  I will post some pics of the stereo bar I built for them soon, I just got my digi camera back.

Sweet, thanks Thomas, this sounds great.  Yes, I was quoted $311 per cable domestically...I'm not in a rush, I'd rather save the extra $200.00 for something else.  Let us know when you get your pics up of the stereo bar, I'm anxious to see how it looks.
