Not saying that matters, only that if it will matter or not depends. The primary difference as far as most tapers are concerned will be sensitivity and output level.
I just checked the published specs online. The specifications of the new 6060 (which incorporates CORE) are equivalent the legacy 4060. The new CORE 4060 exceeds those of the CORE 6060. So going to 6060 is essentially like using the older legacy 4060, except in a smaller microphone, with the corresponding higher cost.
