I use a LowePro Nova 5 because I always run at least two pairs of mics and usually three pairs and I need the room for the mics, windscreens, mounting bars etc...
Reality is merely an illusion, albeit a very persistent one.

I just so happened to grab some pictures of three bags with 680s and external pres (V2s and a V3) a couple days ago.

My 4 shelf sonic case in the middle, and I believe the other two are Lowepro Nova 5s.

I really like the sonic case.  With the 680 in the top shelf there both sides open up for access if you don't have right angle inputs.

IMO, there isn't a single bag on the market that even comes close to being as good as the Kata Sundo-1 for what we do. Unfortunately, it's a pretty expensive bag. For some reason, I have never found another audio bag designed with a clear top-panel that completely zips up to prevent against rain or beer spills. Most audio bags rely on velcro flaps and would not protect against bad spills.

There are a lot of other great features to this bag, but the zippered top panel is my favorite.

One of these bags is mine and I grabbed my Lowepro Nova 5 used off ebay for $33!!  Also allows a lot of room for other gear.

Nice pic! I scored a free Portabrace made for an old Tascam DAP1 DAT deck, and it came with an RM-Multi ;) I *think* I am going to use it w/ my mk4>LB[OT]>M10 rig, but the sides of the clear flaps dont completely close. I used to have one for my old 722+an RM-Multi and loved that bag. Im not so much worried about drinks getting spilled on it(although its ALWAYS on my mind). I am more concerned with the PB bag for transporting and storing for day to day use. But I am afraid of having to walk the PB bag back to my tent in the rain, because rain would DEF get inside the sides of the clear flaps. Thats why I have 2 smaller Lowepro bags that zip shut and dont have to worry about it raining when Im walking back to my tent at the end of the night at like 5am :P ;D

Plus, my rig is TINY compared to those massive bags ;) I will probably end up using another Lowepro bag that I have that is PERFECT for active mics/KCY Cable/LittleBox/M10/accessories/etc..... :)
