Budget?
Open recording or stealth?
What mics do you have?
What sort of recording - field, home studio, etc.?

I'm also unclear on what exactly you mean by:

im looking for a used recorder that i can put on to my computer with two XLR inputs

Do you want to record directly to your computer?  Or record onto a recorder, and then transfer the recording to your computer?
