I have a consumer DAT deck with an optical out. I have a V3 with an optical in. Is there a way that I can pass the digital signal from my DAT through the AES out on my V3? I already have an AES>RCA cable to go into my R-44.
DAT (optical out) > V3 (optical in) / V3 (AES to digital RCA out) > R-44 (digital RCA in)

You have an optical output / not input on the V3. So I don't think that will work.

Plug it up and give it a try!
