Topic: Sony A7 DAT Problem

On a local music board a member posed this question for us/me. If you have any ideas or input it would be appreciated! Here is a copy of his problem.

"I mailed a SONY A7 DAT player to my niece in perfect working order, there was no visible damage, and so on...but it would not turn on. I now have it in my posession, I opened it and nothing apparent was wrong...found a fuse...it was not blown...it simply won't turn on...there is a battery in it???didn't check that...

Anybody have any ideas? Experience with these units...Digital Taper?

If not, do you know of a good place where I can take it to have it looked at?
