Sub 14oz (400gm) UMPC w/Win XP for taping
« on: July 27, 2009, 11:36:08 AM »
Just noticed some very tiny UMPC models out since a few months back:
UMID mbook M1 (11.1oz/315gm)
Viliv S5 (13.9oz/395gm)

Since they both feature Win XP and USB ports, I figured they would be cool for taping with an external USB sound card, for a portable rig (4-track if necessary). This has been tried with Asus Eee and similar netbooks, but these gadgets are even smaller.
