Topic: Mp3 on MR1

Does anybody know if mp3 files be copied to and played on the Korg MR1? I understand the formats that it records but since my iriver died I'd like a recorder that can also act as my mp3 player.

MP3s cannot currently be played back, but we are finishing a new OS revision which will add this feature. Expect more news about this at the end of this month.

Very interesting switch of the usual MP3 'player' trying to get adequate 'recording functions' out of a primarily 'player' designed device.

Now we have exactly the opposite with MR-1, a primarily designed for recording device, being evolved to also be an MP3 player!  First time I've heard of this happening!
