If you are still having problems you can join the jb3tapers group on yahoo.  Below is the link:

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/njb3tapers/

Once you join the group all the different firmwares are located in the files.

ok, so i don't see any of the new firmware other than 1.40 which i've had for awhile.  if you're installing firmware, i do believe that you have to upgrade them one at a time.  so you can't go from like 1.10 > 1.40 without installing 1.20 and 1.32 first - at least i think so anyway.

Has anyone been able to go from 1.10>1.40?

If you're having problems updating firmware, try using USB if possible.  I could not
update with fireware but USB worked without a hitch.

I just had this situation. The techs at creative had to walk me through it. Only if you have below 1.32 , do you have to do them one at a time...thats what they told me...I did  it one at a time and fucked myself.had to start over..Of course i had 1.40.05 and went to 1.40.06, but didnt know, and thefirst dude dude told me I had 1.10...idiot...some of them HAVE the new firmware.just not the old ones.
