you sure this is what you want?
reason i ask is that it appears that this thing will only last around 40 minutes or so... the AD1k docs state that it draws 1150 to 1300mA, with the low voltage LED starting to flash at 11.5VDC... then when i look at a discharge curve for a "typical" SLA battery similar to this one (Yuasa NP2.3-12), that's about what i get.
one and a half pounds does seem slightly light though... that Yuasa weighs 2 lbs... and it also says the max charge current is 0.58 amps at 14.4 to 15V.
