pretty interesting technology. since no one ever knows when i've taken photos, I think I'll stick with manually uploading. :)

most cell phones have cameras these days that you can also upload to servers with. for example, if your phone has a camera and you have mms, you can send photos to facebook.
Advice is a form of nostalgia, dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it’s worth.

Yes I can see us converging on the day when our recorders/cameras/etc will dial-home and back-up our data on-the-fly to our servers.

So the wifi connection is built into the card? I can just sit my camera on my desk and upload? is that how this works?
