Title: DPA 4061´s + R09(mic-in) + 12V bbox at loud rock open air
Post by: Arni99 on July 06, 2007, 06:53:45 PM
just returned from www.lovelydays.at and tested my "new" DPA4061.
WOW, what a great sound these babies produce!
Sounds like a soundboard-recording  ;)!
Even when Uriah Heep played I used mic-in at level 17.
With high sensitive mics you could use line-in , but not with (standard low-sens) DPA4061 or low-sens modded SP-CMC-4U(AT853U).
I´ll never go line-in with these mics ;).
Great results on mic-in speak for themselves.

Arni, Du Alte!  Sounds like you are rockin' out there in the Eastern Empire.  I checked the line up for the 6th and it looks like you got a bunch of great musicians.  I hope you taped 'em all.

Cheers
