Here's an old ad for the mics....figured here's a good place keep a copy.  I also included a spec sheet that has info for their entire line.

Thanks for the scans.  Only mic I've seen this ruler flat are the Sennheiser MKH series.

I wonder if that's some sort of attenuator, although very difficult to access. Like the ones in the CM100/300's. Even though spyder points out they are ruler flat, these mics need roll off. Either using the power boxes that came with them or a pre with roll off. And this is from Sanks mouth, not mine.

Some sort of trimmer or variable something or other....- seems like every AM radio had a few of those in it...the name escapes me...probably something you dont want to touch..

But - the little silver and black thing in the right corner (last pic) - near the coppery looking part - resembles the attenuator part on the 300s...

I haven't needed roll off so far.  I bet it depends on which preamp you use.  1K's + Aerco have been heaven.
