From the picture, the build quality looks comparable to the Windtech (maybe like Manfrotto vs. Impact?) but have you pulled the trigger and done the "Pepsi challenge" with one?

on stage stuff is for sale at guitar center
the stuff i have seen looks and feels exactly like windtech
i think they are the same company/manu

I remember the windtech since it was about the same price as this new on the scene onstage clamp.
