Title: non-rightangle adaptaplug
Post by: Stumptown Matt on September 23, 2003, 07:23:35 PM
I'm looking for a place that sells adaptaplugs (ala radio shack) or a similiar set up that in not right angle.  I need it for my ad-20.  Radio shack only sells right angle plugs for some reason and they don't quite fit right.  It worked for awhile but now it takes a lot of tape and the power will cut out if the unit gets moved.  Also it needs to be a mono mini.  It does not need to be an adaptaplug style set up.  If you know of any places that sell a length of wire already attached to a mono mini plug that would work too.

in my experience the adaptaplugs are VERY loose connections and should be avoided if at all possible.  i think you'd be much better off by getting the locking switchcraft plug instead.  it is very simple to make your own power cable.  just my .02

They had non-right angle ones?  The idiot here in Portland gave me a long spiel about how the used to have them but everyone wanted right angle and it is too expensive to make both blah blah blah.................
