I'm not exactly sure how anyone would use this, but FYI:

I could understand going from SPDIF to USB, but from USB to SPDIF?  Weird.

Damn, save yourself the bank break and go for the Musiland 01 for $70 shipped.  I've been using it for a while with my DAC with no complaints yet.
