probably old news, but just listing some interesting stereo microphones that are new within the last couple years. I'm sure there are others, its not comprehensive. Just a few things I hadn't really seen.
Like that Milab SRND-360 surround sound mic. pretty awesome. Too bad its AC powered.

On the theme of stereo mics...
We went to Moonalice the other night, and there was a guy there named Hugh (he is a seldom heard from member here), running a Core Sound Tetra Ambi-sonic thing similar to the Soundfield.
http://www.core-sound.com/TetraMic/1.php
. He also had a Busman stereo ribbon mic running Mid/Side.
I had my 414's, and Corey had his 483's, which makes for some nice comps. What's interesting to me is that Corey and I are pretty much entrenched in the idea of avoiding the room ambiance, and he was trying to grab all he could, and then applying the "how wide to you want it" in post. Since there was a small attentive crowd instead of a big chatty one, it worked out great for him.
You can find the different sources by starting here and jumping to "other sources" link.

^^^ I like the -414 source also (card setting, I assume?) though I have to say, that Tetramic might be my 2nd favorite. That thing would be murder in 90% of the crowds I'm in, though...
