Title: Can someone make me a set of 15 ft. Mic cables?
Post by: RRobar on June 20, 2004, 12:55:55 AM: I'm looking into gear again and I've been checking out some cables at places like KindKables.com and other various places. I suck at stuff like soldering so I'm asking who could make me a set of 15 ft XLR>XLR. Canare star quad cable. PM if anyone can help out.

i would be willing to make ONE 15 ft pair so i can have 25ft left for myself for those longer runs, or i may sell/build all of this, and just buy a set of 25ft hyperconductors and say "fuggit"

Post by: Brian Skalinder on July 07, 2004, 01:48:17 PM: You could coil the excess LC3 cable in your bag so it doesn't spread across the floor and get stomped on by dancers. Though I suppose if you're running split omnis or some such that might not work very well.

Post by: jpschust on July 07, 2004, 02:22:59 PM: that lc3 cable is still somewhat delicate. it is the only thing i sometimes dislike about my dpas- the active being bound to the mic.
