Hi,
I'm looking for a microphone stand that is both light weight and tall, like 12ft. I have a 9.5ft stand but outdoors it won't be so good. It would be nice under 100 dollars. Any suggestions? Thank you very much.

i use this ^ stand and have never had any problems. i walk about two miles with this stand and a bag full of gear to a local venue and don't find it too heavy. it's also air cushioned, which is a nice feature.
this Impact stand also looks pretty good, but i have no direct experience with it...
